چکیده

Abstract The transformers oil acts as an insulation well cooling liquid of a transformer. It is very important that the transformer maintained so properties are preserved with time. Petroleum-based mineral widely used in due to its excellent insulating qualities and low cost despite its’ non-biodegradable hazardous property. This paper seeks find alternative by using palm based nanofluids at lower concentration values match IEC standards for ester oil. nanoparticles this project zinc oxide (ZnO) zirconium dioxide (ZrO 2 ). ZnO has conductive nature while ZrO on other hand shows insulative behavior. Three different value were which 0.0015 g/L, 0.0025 g/L 0.005 had never been reported before. Tests performed samples includes AC breakdown, dielectric kinematic viscosity. Research outcome outstanding result optimum improving measured these nanofluid concentrations. Reducing amount use also means saving providing more eco-friendly solution.

Influence of Copper Particles on Breakdown Voltage and Frequency-Dependent Dielectric Property of Vegetable Insulating Oil

The insulating performance of oil is vulnerable to particles especially the conductive particles. This paper investigated the influence of copper particles of micrometer size on the breakdown strength and frequency-dependent properties of vegetable oil. The AC breakdown voltage of contaminated vegetable oil with copper particles of different numbers (ranging from 103 to 106) was measured. The f...

An Investigation on Stability, Electrical and Thermal Characteristics of Transformer Insulting Oil Nanofluids

Transformer insulating oil nanofluid is made to improve dielectric and thermal properties of the oil by employing nanoparticles with proper properties. In the current work, nanofluids based on transformer mineral oil were prepared by three procedures using diamond nanoparticles with high thermal conductivity, as well as high dielectric properties. It was tried to consider the impacts of surfact...

Hysteresis Phenomenon on Water-Based Nanofluid Viscosity

Dynamic viscosity values for three particular water-based nanofluids have been experimental determined using a commercial ‘piston-type’ viscometer. Viscosity data, expressed as a function of temperature and particle volume fraction, are presented for 29nm particle-size CuO-water and Al2O3-water with 36nm and 47nm particle-sizes, temperatures up to 75°C and particle volume fraction up to 9%. In ...

Oxidation and low temperature stability of vegetable oil-based lubricants

Vegetable oils are promising candidates as base fluid for eco-friendly lubricants because of their excellent lubricity, biodegradability, viscosity–temperature characteristics and low volatility. Their use, however, is restricted due to low thermo-oxidative stability and poor cold flow behavior. This paper presents a systematic approach to improve the oxidation behavior and low temperature flui...

Initial susceptibility and viscosity properties of low concentration ε-Fe3N based magnetic fluid

In this paper, the initial susceptibility of e-Fe3N magnetic fluid at volume concentrations in the range F = 0.0 ~ 0.0446 are measured. Compared with the experimental initial susceptibility, the Langevin, Weiss and Onsager susceptibility were calculated using the data obtained from the low concentration e-Fe3N magnetic fluid samples. The viscosity of the e-Fe3N magnetic fluid at the same concen...
